I am María Ángeles Ruiz Chicharro, a physiotherapist specialized in fascial therapy, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and babies.
I work where your body keeps what words don't say.
I research, teach and accompany from the union between science and the lived body.
I investigate how the fascia stores the experience of birth and conditions long-term health.
My continuing education process includes fascial anatomy through dissection in Germany, Italy and Poland and I am a member of Fascia Research Society y The Fascia Hub.
My vision, training and research task has led me to present my research on fascia and birth in the 7th International Fascia Research Congress (New Orleans, 2025) and Biotensegrity & Movement Immersion (Portugal, 2025).
My goal is for other professionals such as midwives, physiotherapists and perinatal health personnel to integrate fascial research into pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum support. For this I offer specialized and experiential courses and workshops.
I have been dedicated to understanding the female body from the inside for more than 20 years. Not only as a physiotherapist, but as student of fascia, movement, birth and everything that happens in the body when a woman congests, gives birth, recovers... or simply lives.
I work from deep anatomical knowledge, clinical experience and respectful listening.
Specialized care in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, pelvic floor and pelvic pain. I also work with babies in their first months of life.
I regularly attend international fascial research conferences and update my knowledge in anatomy, biotensegrity and advanced manual therapy.
Your back pain may come from your diaphragm. Your diaphragm may be blocked by emotional tension. I work from that global perspective that connects everything.
In Body Adentro there are no generic protocols. There is applied science with clinical criteria. There are hands trained in deep fascial anatomy. There is continuous training at the forefront of international research. And there is a commitment: to accompany you from the real knowledge of how your body works, not from beliefs or well-being fads.
Each woman arrives with her story on her body. And each body deserves to be understood from science and treated from humanity.
I work in two areas:
Private consultation: I accompany women in pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, pelvic floor and chronic pain. I also treat babies with cranial asymmetries, congenital torticollis, colic and breastfeeding difficulties.
Vocational training: I teach courses and workshops for midwives, physiotherapists and perinatal health personnel. I teach how to integrate fascial research into real clinical follow-up.
Specialized work on the perineal fascia, pelvic diaphragm and fascial structures related to pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.
Relief of pelvic pain, postpartum recovery and body preparation for childbirth.
Courses and workshops for midwives, physiotherapists and perinatal health personnel.
I teach how to integrate fascial research, biotensegrity and the craniosacral approach in supporting pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and babies.
Body monitoring throughout the entire process: fascial preparation for childbirth, relief of discomfort during pregnancy, recovery of the pelvic floor and body reorganization in the postpartum.
From real anatomy, not from generic exercises.
Subtle manual technique that works on the craniosacral system to release deep tensions.
Especially indicated in pregnancy, postpartum and for babies with cranial asymmetries, congenital torticollis or breastfeeding difficulties.
Craniosacral and fascial work for babies with cranial asymmetries, congenital muscular torticollis, colic, reflux, birth tensions or breastfeeding difficulties.
Respectful accompaniment from the understanding of how birth is inscribed in the body.
Integrative body therapy that works from breathing, movement and body awareness.
To release physical and emotional blockages, reconnect with the body and regain vitality.
